Clint Cascaden is originally from Dayton, Ohio, however, he considers Mobile, Alabama
home. He has made North Carolina his home for the past 7 years with his wife Kelly,
and their 3 boys, Andrew, Max, and Leo. He is a veteran of 12 years, where he served
as a Public Affairs Officer with the United States Marine Corps. After leaving the
military he was an instructor for Campbell University in Bouis Creek, North Carolina.
Afterwards, he relocated to Greenville South Carolina where he taught a Financial
Management class at Furman University for 3 years.
Clint holds associate degrees in Arts and Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
and a Master’s Degree in Business. As our President and CEO of The Retirement Resource
Group, it is his vision to provide the best possible resources to our clients, while
building life-long personal and professional relationships.
Clint is a licensed Insurance Agent in five states and has been in the financial
services industry for 15 years. He holds accreditations as a Certified Senior Advisor
and Certified Long-Term Care Specialist.
Joe Owens, President, The Retirement Resource Group Upstate
Joe Owens was born and raised in Greenville, SC. He received his management degree
from Erskine College. He was a four year member and captain of the Erskine men’s
basketball team. He also attended the University of Georgia for continuing education
in the field of marketing. Joe then went on to be a successful mid-level manager
with one the largest pharmaceutical devise companies in the US. Joe is an entrepreneur
of a private promotion/publicist company in Greenville. He has received various
awards such as Focus on Excellence Award and the Milky Way All American Award, just
to name a few. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of insurance and
financial services and has served in various roles such as unit manager, senior sales
agent, and now owner of our Greenville, SC office.
Joe’s personal mission is to lead and manage this organization in such a fashion
that all its members adhere to our culture. His desire is to impact not just one
life, but many and their ability to positively impact their communities with great
change by helping others.
